We at Vallabh Ashram provide the nurturing ground for the holistic growth of children with the objective of making them responsible citizens of tomorrow. The institute's underlying focus is to take education beyond the scope of mere academics with an emphasis on the multidimensional grooming of a child.

It gives me great happiness to state that our academic performance has been outstanding over the years and our outgoing board students are getting excellent placements. It is a matter of equal pleasure that our students are selected to represent Gujarat State at the National level in games like football, basketball, swimming, T.T. and badminton. At the IPSC and other inter school events our school has been participating in a fairly large measure and our students have displayed high levels of promise in activities ranging from the literary, to the performing and still arts.

n the first of every calendar year the school adopts a resolution to work on, in letter and spirit. A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO PRINCIPAL DR. A. K. GAUR

 

Dr. A.K. Gaur BSc. (Hons.), M.Sc ( Zoology), B.Ed., Ph.D. has 30 years of rich experience in the field of education. Serving as Principal since 1992 he has been heading Vallabh Ashram School , Killa Pardi, from Dec.1999. Dr. Gaur started his career as a Senior Biology teacher with the Ministry of Education, East Africa , and served there for three years. Later, he served the Birla School , Pilani, as Senior Biology teacher for a decade and made a mark as an outstanding teacher, earning the sobriquet, “Maker of Doctors.”

He rose to become the youngest Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and posted at Bhavan's Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Ambuja Nagar, Gujarat , and served for seven years before joining the present school. He has a rich academic and professional experience, and attended several programmes at prestigious institutions like NEEPA NCERT, IIM Ahmedabad & Harvard University , Boston , USA . He is also serving as Hon.Director of MCM Kothari International Girls Residential School, Killa Pardi, a sister organization of Vallabh Ashram, from its inception in June 2004.

His area of interest includes Classroom Management, Total Quality Management, Creativity, Dyslexia, Teaching Ethics and Educational Planning.

In recognition of his outstanding work in the field of education, he has been conferred the National Award by the Honorable President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil on 5 th September 2010 .
